HIV and AIDS

Pray that there would be a growing understanding of the HIV and AIDS virus. Pray that people would take more time to learn about how the virus can be contracted, passed on, and how it affects its victims. HIV and AIDS affects millions of people, pray that we would have courage to respond in the same way Christ would have.

Please pray for all the people taking part in a picnic to raise money for Positive Impact. Pray that they would be encouraged by their efforts; knowing that every penny they raise contributes towards changing someone’s life.

Pray for churches who are reaching out to those affected by HIV and AIDS in the places where we work. Pray that they would be a shining light in the darkness through their response to this disease, modelling how others in their locality should be responding.

Please pray for our partners who are working in communities affected by the HIV virus. Pray that they would be greatly encouraged as they help prevent the spread of HIV, as they care and provide support for suffers, and as they help minimise its effect.
