Operation Christmas Child

Pray for all of the children who send shoeboxes this year. Pray that they would understand the value and significance of what they are doing and that it would help them understand their own importance and how much God loves them.

Thank the Lord that through Operation Christmas Child churches from different denominations and traditions are brought together. Pray that this would continue and that this year churches would again come together in prayer, in wrapping, packing, sending, and delivering.

Please pray for all the children who receive a shoebox this year. Pray that their shoebox helps them to understand that God loves them and that he cares for them deeply. All the children we send the shoeboxes to face difficult challenges, pray that they would be encouraged and motivated in all that they do.

In 2008 we sent shoeboxes to over 1.2million children. Please pray that as we begin to collect shoeboxes for the 2009 campaign we see even more than last year. Pray also that the God might watch over the huge operation that goes on behind the scenes and that it would go without fault.
