“On the last Service I attended in Kenya, the Pastor said that we were an answer to their prayers. At first this seemed an awesome responsibility and I did not know if I was ready for it. But upon reflection I realised that the prayer was not for material things but encouragement. I was the messenger on this trip carrying the message of hope in this life from my local Church in Derby. And I brought back the message of love from those fellow Christians in Kenya to the Church members in Derby who face a different kind of poverty. It was an awesome privilege to be that link to unite Christian brothers and sisters.”
